Who Was Saint Carlo Acutis?

Carlo was just like any other kid—he loved soccer, video games, and hanging out with friends. But what made him a saint wasn’t his hobbies, it was his unwavering faith in Jesus. He went to daily Mass, prayed the Rosary, and used his computer skills to build a website about Eucharistic miracles so that more people would believe in the Real Presence of Jesus in the Eucharist. Carlo reminds us that holiness isn’t boring, and it isn’t just for adults. Holiness is possible for kids and teens right now, in the middle of their ordinary lives.
When Will Carlo Acutis Be Canonized?
September 7, 2025
Carlo Acutis will be canonized as a Roman Catholic saint on September 7, 2025. He was beatified by Pope Francis in 2020, making him “Blessed.” His canonization was scheduled for April 2025 but was postponed because of the death of Francis. Pope Leo XIV will canonize Carlo Acutis and Pier Giorgio Frassati on the same day. {source}
