Trademark and Logo Usage Policy

Raising Wild Saints™, operated and owned exclusively by Sarah-Jean Ballard & Fashionable Media, owns and controls all registered and unregistered trademarks, service marks, product names, trade names, taglines, logos, trade dress, and other brand identifiers (collectively, the “Marks”). These Marks include, but are not limited to Raising Wild Saints™, Homeschooling for Heaven™, Bear Good Fruits™, Saint Spotlights™, and Knowing Them™.

This Trademark and Logo Usage Policy (“Policy”) explains how the Marks may and may not be used. Any use of the Marks without prior written permission from Raising Wild Saints™ or outside the scope of a written agreement with RWS is strictly prohibited. This Policy is incorporated by reference into and forms a binding part of any license, collaboration, affiliate relationship, partnership, or other written agreement between you and RWS (collectively, the “Agreements”).

If you do not agree to this Policy, you may not use the Marks in any way. Any rights you might otherwise claim to use the Marks, including alleged fair use rights, are expressly disclaimed and waived to the fullest extent permitted by law.

All other trademarks that appear in RWS materials are the property of their respective owners.

Scope of the Marks

This Policy applies to all Raising Wild Saints™ Marks, whether registered or unregistered, across all formats and media, including physical products, digital products, websites, email marketing, advertising, social media, print publications, and future platforms not yet developed.

Questions about permitted uses of the Marks should be directed to sarah@raisingwildsaints.com.

General Rules for Use of the Marks

You may reference the Marks only as permitted by this Policy and any applicable Agreement with RWS. Any permitted reference must comply with the following requirements:

  • You may not use any Mark as part of your company name, product name, service name, program name, domain name, or app name.
  • You may not use any Mark in the name or handle of any social media account, page, group, or community without prior written authorization from RWS.
  • You may not include any RWS Mark, logo, icon, or derivative design in your own logo, branding, marketing assets, app icons, or product packaging.
  • You may not alter, abbreviate, stylize, pluralize, or modify any Mark. The Marks must appear exactly as designated by RWS.
  • You may not use the Marks in any way that is misleading, deceptive, defamatory, obscene, or damaging to the reputation of Raising Wild Saints™, its products, or its community.
  • You may not imply or suggest sponsorship, endorsement, certification, or affiliation with Raising Wild Saints™ unless explicitly authorized in writing.
  • The Marks may not be the most visually prominent element on any page or material where they are referenced. Your brand identity must remain dominant.

Proper Trademark Usage

Trademarks are proper adjectives, not nouns or verbs. When referencing a Mark:

  • Always use the Mark to modify a generic noun (for example, curriculum, study, resource, guide, or program).
  • Do not use a Mark in possessive form.
  • Do not use a Mark as slang or shorthand.
  • Always capitalize the Mark correctly.

Correct examples:

  • We are using the Bear Good Fruits™ curriculum in our homeschool.
  • This lesson pairs well with Knowing Them™ monthly saint studies.

Incorrect examples:

  • We Bear Good Fruits every morning.
  • Knowing Them’s lessons are my favorite.
  • This is a Bear Good Fruits.
  • We are homeschooling for heaven.

First Reference and Symbols

When a Mark appears for the first time in any material, it should be written in full and accompanied by the appropriate trademark symbol (™ or ® if applicable). Subsequent uses should remain consistent.

Whenever possible, pair the Mark with a clear description of the product or service it identifies.

Attribution Statement

Any permitted materials that reference RWS Marks must include a trademark attribution statement similar to the following:

“Raising Wild Saints™, Homeschooling for Heaven™, Bear Good Fruits™, Saint Spotlights™, and Knowing Them™ are trademarks of Sarah-Jean Ballard and Fashionable Media.”

Logos

All Raising Wild Saints™ logos and visual brand assets are proprietary.

  • You may not use, reproduce, display, or distribute any RWS logo without express written permission.
  • Permission to use a logo, if granted, will be limited in scope, duration, and purpose and may be revoked at any time.
  • Participation in an affiliate, partner, or licensing program may grant limited logo usage rights subject to additional guidelines.

Absent a written agreement, no logo usage is permitted.

Use of the Marks in Publications, Events, or Educational Content

Use of Raising Wild Saints™ Marks in titles of books, courses, workshops, conferences, seminars, or similar materials is allowed only when expressly authorized in writing and subject to all of the following:

  • The content must focus specifically on the RWS product referenced.
  • The RWS Mark may not be more prominent than your own title, brand, or logo.
  • No RWS logos, visual assets, or stylized branding may be used without permission.
  • The Mark may not appear in domain names, URLs, or social media handles connected to the content.
  • All spelling, capitalization, and formatting must match official RWS usage.
  • A trademark attribution statement must be included.

Nothing in the usage may imply an endorsement or relationship that does not exist.

Third-Party and Compatibility Use

If you offer products or services intended to complement or work alongside Raising Wild Saints™ materials, you may reference the Marks only with prior written consent and only in a descriptive, referential manner such as:

  • “Compatible with Bear Good Fruits™ curriculum”
  • “Designed for use alongside Knowing Them™ studies”

In such cases:

  • The product must genuinely function as described.
  • The Mark may not appear in your product name or branding.
  • No logos, icons, or visual brand elements may be used.
  • Your branding must remain clearly independent from Raising Wild Saints™.

Reservation of Rights

Raising Wild Saints™ and Sarah-Jean Ballard reserve all rights not expressly granted under this Policy or any written Agreement. Improper use of the Marks may result in revocation of permissions, termination of agreements, or legal action.

This Policy may be updated at any time without notice. Continued use of the Marks constitutes acceptance of the current version of the Policy.
