I was SO EXCITED for this program that I participated in the pre-order. I have 5 and 3 year old daughters (homeschooling my 5 year old!). This program has been the perfect thing for our weekly religious study. I wanted something that would appeal to both of my children (and let’s be honest myself too!). I also wanted a program that could be used again and again and grow with our family. This is just that! For us, we typically read aloud the scripture for the week, and then while they color the weekly coloring page, I read some of the info provided. We read a book or two (or find the read aloud online), and call it a day! Then as we have time through the week, we usually do the hands on craft and the outside time portion. It’s truly been wonderful! Can’t wait for the next volume!

I have been homeschooling for over 20 years and I found this refreshing. It is colorful without being overwhelming and is easy to follow. I was able to acquire the supplies without having to go way out of my way or spend a lot. I have older kids that are adults and they liked it as well it. It has been suggested to me that I gift the next one to several families. I like that it is kid friendly without being silly.
My biggest con to this is also one of my favorites about it, my kids want to buy all the books to go with it. We did have some of them already and have been able to find some of them online. I like that it has something for my 5-year-old while not turning off my 13-year-old. I was able to work this around our Advent and Christmas traditions and look forward to Lent and Easter with the next one.
