Lent Countdown Banner Printable

A visual way to walk through the 40 days of Lent as a family

Lent is not meant to be rushed, shortened, or treated like a checklist. This Lent Countdown Banner was created to be interactive and help families move slowly and intentionally through the entire season, one day at a time, with Christ at the center.

This Lent Countdown Banner Printable includes 47 daily cards, counting all the days of Lent from Ash Wednesday through Easter Sunday, including the Sundays of Lent. The length is intentional. Lent is a season we live in fully, not just on weekdays.

Also included is a Jesus in the Desert marker, designed to be attached to a wooden clothespin and moved each day along the banner. As children physically move Jesus forward, they are reminded that Lent is about walking with Him, step by step, toward Easter.

This banner is simple to set up and flexible for any home. Cards can be hung in one long row or arranged in two or three rows depending on wall space. It works beautifully in a prayer corner, dining area, or homeschool space.

More than a countdown, this banner becomes a daily touchpoint for prayer and reflection. Print on standard-sized, 8.5″x11″ paper, preferably 32lb paper. (This one is my favorite)
